Unifying your information: Lauren Graden
Lauren Graden, Document Control Specialist and Founder of LGC Academy recently presented on our webinar "Unifying Your Information: The Need for a Single Source of Truth. On the webinar, Lauren provided insight into how organisations can turn their scattered information into a Single Source of Truth, protecting themselves and mitigating risk in the process. The road to recovery: Ann Bentley
Ann Bentley, Global Board Director at Rider Levett Bucknall and member of the UK Government’s Construction Leadership Council, joined us to share her take on surviving and thriving during the COVID-19 crisis. On our Changing Construction podcast, Ann discussed coming out of a recession, what we can learn from previous recessions in the UK, creating value in the construction industry, how construction firms can look to the future, and where they can find pipeline going forward. Ann also presented on our webinar, "Avoiding project nightmares: What's important when projects go wrong."
Safer buildings: Dame Judith Hackitt
Dame Judith Hackitt joined us on our Changing Construction podcast to discuss how the AEC industry can create safer buildings. Topics discussed in the episode include managing and maintaining buildings for the least amount of money, creating buildings that have safety at its core, regulatory changes, and the need for the 'Golden Thread of Information' throughout a building's lifecycle and what it means in pragmatic terms.
Working with the enemy: Sarah Fox
Contract Strategist and Consultant, Sarah Fox wrote a whitepaper for us, Working with the Enemy, which discussed the role email plays in construction contracts, how to avoid contract disputes, best practices for contract processes and communications, and what not to do when it comes to contracts. Sarah also joined our Changing Construction podcast to discuss how to avoid construction disputes, and the role contracts play in this.
Women in BIM: Vicki Reynolds
Vicki Reynolds, Chief Technology Officer at i3PT & CertCentral, has done a lot of work with Mail Manager in the past few years. In fact, she was our first ever guest on the Changing Construction podcast! In her podcast episode, Vicki discussed Women in BIM, making the construction industry appealing for all, BIM strategies and selling the benefits of BIM. Vicki also presented on our webinar, "Avoiding project nightmares: What's important when projects go wrong", where she provided her thoughts on how to integrate email into your project management to mitigate risks, close the communication loop, save time and connect site teams to your back office.
